Women played a significant role in the war in Vietnam. During these harsh times, women were known as the 'long-haired warriors' and were suppose to fulfill their domestic duties, but also to carry firearm and act as a defense against homeland. A lot of Vietnamese propaganda posters show powerful and mighty women. They are truly beautiful and are well known artworks in today's society.

The notorious topic of recruitment of the Vietnam War comes to life when viewing propaganda posters. America was focused on drafting boys eighteen and up. The posters made it seem like they had to serve their country. Towards the end of the war, posters took a more ruthless approach because support for the army was decreasing. We know today the affects the war had on the young soldiers and how these posters played a role in that.
