Leadership of Easy Company

All around the leaders of the 506th and Easy Company were a grade above all of the others. Two in particular stand out. Colonel Robert Sink and Major Richard Winters. Colonel Sink because from its formation saw how special these units would be and recognized that they needed something more than the standard training and that they should be treated as more than common soldiers. Major Winters because he was the one that led the most effectively in battle. He was the one who led the charge and kept his men together even in the harshest of the fighting.
